Contract terms

What the store pays a consignor, and on what schedule. Where a store also buys outright, these describe the consignment side only.

Consignor split

40% for items under $250; 60% for items over $250

Contract length

90 days

Markdown schedule

After 60 days items will be reduced. At any time Green Monkey may reduce the price due to inventory levels, sales, or damage.

Checks are processed on the last day of the month, available for pickup on the 15th of the following month

Unsold items

If any of your items do not sell, they will be donated after the 90 day consignment period. You can reclaim your items by coming in on or before your pick up date.

Stores are selective — brand tiers, condition standards and seasonal windows are normal, and being turned down once does not mean a store is closed to you.

Condition standard

clean, quality, contemporary women’s clothing, shoes and accessories in up-to-date styles (within the last 3-5 years) in excellent condition

Seasonal rules

Jackets, leathers & furs, sweaters, thick knits and boots do best between October-January. Summer and Spring items: cotton, gauze, linen, silk

Not accepted

items from Walmart, Target, Kohls, Jc Pennys and other discount stores; career wear such as suits and slacks; formal wear
